berlinerpool is an international information and communication platform developed by artists.
berlinerpool´s main goal is to provide communication structures, which support artistic work and bring artists, curators and art initiatives together Currently berlinerpool consists of three parallel modules:
I - mobile artists archive
Currently, portfolios and project documentations of 150 international artists and artist groups are archived here, the main focus being on Berlin and Istanbul. The mobile archive isn't housed in any fixed location, but rather travels from host to host, thereby being accessible in new contexts constantly.
At this moment berlinerpool artists' archive can be visited on appointment only here:

III - project development
berlinerpool organizes its own events, exhibitions and cooperative projects.
For example, in 2006, berlinerpool invited six curators to implement the exhibition Outliners in the project room arttransponder Berlin, using the berlinerpool archives for research. In addition, berlinerpool cooperates with other projects and institutions, especially as mentor and media partner.
